He's a 100% Democrat Party guy - No Matter How Radical They Have Become. Amazingly, he has voted with the Democrats including Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi over 98% of the time regardless of how his vote could affect the people of his district, not to mention the rest of the country. But why listen to you?
He supports forcing you to show ID even to enter his "public" town hall meetings BUT he says no one need show ID to get to vote to register to vote or cast a vote in a Federal election.

Government Health Care - Gene Green Voted Yes, is this your vote?

Medicare plans destroyed, forces people to buy government approved insurance or pay a huge fine, government takeover of doctor-patient decisions, massive increase in insurance premiums and healthcare rationing on the way.

CAP AND TAX
Gene wants your gasoline, gas and oil bills to go up - way up; and for the oil and chemical industry jobs to be shipped overseas due to extreme regulation and your electric bill to "necessarily skyrocket" (as Obama said HE wanted)
Establishes a cap and trade program in which covered entities are prohibited from emitting greenhouse gas in excess of the number of emission allowances and offset credits that the entity acquired during each calendar year (Sec. 311).
- Specifies that a "covered entity" includes, but is not limited to, the following (Sec. 312):
- Any electricity source;
- Stationary source that produces and entities that import for sale or distribution in 2008 or any subsequent year petroleum-based or coal-based liquid fuel, petroleum coke, or natural gas liquid, the combustion of which would emit at least 25,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent of greenhouse gas;
- Any geologic sequestration site;
- Any stationary source involved in adipic acid production, primary aluminum production, ammonia manufacturing, cement production other than grinding-only operations, hydrochlorofluorocarbon production, lime manufacturing, nitric acid production, petroleum refining, phosphoric acid production, silicon carbine production, soda ash production, titanium dioxide production, and coal-based liquid or gaseous fuel production; and
- Natural gas local distribution companies that deliver at least 460 million cubic feet of natural gas.

Green says Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., who heads the panel, is trying to entice him into voting for the bill by giving some refineries favorable treatment in the administration's "cap and trade" system, which is expected to generate hundreds of billions of dollars over the coming years. Under the plan, companies would pay for the right to emit carbon dioxide, but Green and other lawmakers are angling to get a free pass for refineries in their districts. "We've been talking," Green said, referring to a meeting he had with Waxman on Tuesday night. "To put together a bill that passes, they have to get our votes, and I'm not going to vote for a bill without refinery allowances."
